An off-grid solar system is a stand-alone power system that operates independently from the utility grid. It generates electricity using solar panels, stores excess energy in batteries, and supplies power directly to a home, cabin, or any remote location — even when the sun isn’t shining.

How It Works :

Solar Panels collect sunlight and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. The Charge Controller then regulates the voltage and current going into the batteries to prevent overcharging. The battery Bank stores the electricity for use during cloudy days or night time.

The inverter converts stored DC power into alternating current (AC) power, which most household appliances use.

 

Off-grid solar systems provide independence, so therefore no reliance of utility companies, freedom from rising energy costs, blackouts, and grid dependency. Once installed, your system produces clean, quiet energy .

SinusMax - Superior engineering
Developed for professional duty, this range of inverters is suitable for the widest range of applications. The design criteria have been to produce a true sine wave inverter with optimised efficiency but without compromise in performance. Employing hybrid HF technology, the result is a top quality product with compact dimensions, light in weight and capable of supplying power, problem free, to any load.

Parallel and 3-phase operation capability
Up to 6 Inverters can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24 V 5000 VA units, for example, will provide 24 kW / 30 kVA output power. Operation in 3-phase configuration is also possible.

Batteries

Pylontech batteries one of the industry leading LiFePo4 energy storage batteries and are scalable to 210kWh and higher from 19inch rack mountable units.

Pylontech manufacture high quality LiFePo4 Lithium Irion Phosphate batteries. And they are used in a wide range of industrial applications from off grid houses, grid storage systems and commercial battery systems up to 210kWh and higher because they are very scalable and cost effective.

Each Pylontech is managed and controlled by a sophisticated BMS that constantly monitors the cells and keeps them working within there parameters reporting the information to an inverter charger.

Pylontech lithium batteries work with many inverter charger manufacturers such as Victron Energy.

Common battery types

Our advanced battery monitors track state of charge, time to go and trigger alarms to prevent battery depletion. Compatible with all common battery types and voltages, they use shunt technology for high-precision monitoring. Our battery monitors promote better battery health and optimise system performance by sharing battery voltage and temperature data, enabling synchronised charging and more.
